The photos below were taken in 2004 during a visit by members of A.A.S.K., Ve'ahavta and a Peterborough high school teacher to the Howard Hospital and the Harare community. The objectives of the visit were to provide further AIDS medication, AIDS education and awareness, in whatever way possible during the short time available enhance the well-being of individuals afflicted directly or indirectly by AIDS, and importantly to learn about the community there so we here can expand our awareness of the AIDS situation in Africa and take action for change. This December 2006, members of Beth Israel, Larry Gillman and his son Steven are returning to Howard Hospital with the same objectives. Best wishes and save journey to you both!!
